About me

Growing up, intellect was everything. For a long time, I was disconnected from my own feelings, needs, and internal signals.

In my thirties, that began to change. As I reconnected with myself, life became more grounded and more authentic. I started to loosen the grip of old conditioning and relate to myself in a different way.

That shift is what brought me to somatic coaching.

Before becoming a coach, I worked in international public health across Africa, the Americas, and Asia for 15 years. Throughout that time, people consistently came to me when they needed to think something through.

I’ve spent years listening, asking questions, and helping people find clarity in complex situations—in their work, relationships, and lives.

I now bring that same attention and depth into my coaching practice.

I listen with all of my senses, reflect back what I hear, and hold you with warmth and without judgment.

What This Work Is

Coaching with me is not about advice, fixing, or pushing you toward quick answers.

It’s about slowing down enough to see clearly:

    •     what’s actually happening beneath the surface
    •     the patterns you keep getting pulled into
    •     what’s holding you in place, even when you “know better”

Our work is conversational, but not casual.

Together, we track what’s happening in real time: thoughts, emotions, sensations, impulses.

My work is grounded in somatic coaching—which means we don’t work only with thoughts and analysis, but also with the body and nervous system.
Rather than forcing clarity through more thinking, we pay attention to what your system is already communicating.

This often leads to insights that feel more stable, more integrated, and easier to act on.

I don’t position myself as the expert on your life.

But I am very good at helping people find the thread in what feels confusing, and staying with it long enough for something real to shift.

I hold a Masters of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Global Public Health from the University of Virginia.
In 2025, I obtained my Level 1 Body-Oriented Coaching Certificate from the Somatic School, which is the world's first somatic coaching program to receive the Level 2 Accreditation by the International Coaching Federation). This certification means that I have completed over 161 hours of credited program hours of coach education and training, and have met the performance requirements of the program.Prior to that, I spent 15 years working as a manager, technical advisor, and consultant on health systems strengthening in low- and middle-income countries. My former employers include the World Bank Group, the Global Financing Facility, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, ThinkWell Global, and Jhpiego. I also freelanced as a photojournalist, covering human rights and social justice issues in places like Peru and Brazil.7. When are you typically available?
